Link Desperation
We all know how important links are. Google uses links in part to measure the importance of your site and link building is a common topic of discussion in business forums.
However, the scramble for links means that anything that resembles a linking opportunity is being used and abused, down grading the resource in the process.
Take our seed keywords engine for example. It’s a simple system for looking for keywords. Increasingly we are seeing link spam being entered into the system even though no part of the system creates links to people’s websites.
Google is supposedly working hard to discount spammy links, it’s slow job because of the volume of crap out there but my view is they will get there. This means link building effort would be better spent on looking for and securing quality links from quality sites that add value to your content and the users experience.
If a link is out of context it’s probably, ultimately, not going to do you any good.

I think the seed keywords engine is one of the most useful tools around to help with website seo. The trouble with this is that anything worth using will always be open to abuse. Quality links are getting harder to find nowdays, but they can be found, somme are just too lazy to search. Ultimately though the spammer will always get greedy in the end and be penalized by the big G and others.
Not quite sure what you mean. Seedkeywords can’t be abused, it doesn’t generate links to sites and you only get something useful out of it if you ask your friends to help you generate a keyword list.

I don’t understand how do you plan to get quality links from quality websites as they have become like mirages on deserts.
No quality sites is giving you a link for FREE or for fear of their name being found by MC & Co. and they loose the trust they otherwise have been enjoying.
Really, the web has become extremely difficult for a little link love
Content secures great links, it’s that simple. I can’t get you good links only your content can, all I can do is make sure great sites know about your great content.
